Following Britney Spears’ recent conservatorship court hearing on June 23, a number of celebrities have come forward to support the #FreeBritney movement. During her performance at the Resorts World Casino in Las Vegas on July 4, Miley Cyrus joined in solidarity with Spears by putting her own twist on the lyrics to her hit song, “Party in the USA.” In a moment of spontaneity, Cyrus switched up the lyrics to shout, “That’s when the taxi driver turned on the radio. He turned to me and said, ‘Free Britney!’” to the cheering crowd. She further added, “We love JAY-Z, but we gotta free this b*tch! It’s stressing me the f*ck out!” Cyrus’ show of support for Spears was met with enthusiastic approval from the audience in attendance.

Just a few days after Judge Brenda Penny refused to remove Jamie Spears as her co-conservator, Miley Cyrus showed some love for Britney Spears during one of her performances. This isn’t the first time Cyrus has backed Spears, as she previously shouted “Free Britney!” back in 2019. The outpouring of support from stars like Christina Aguilera and the audience prove that Spears has a strong group of supporters rooting for her. Watch a snippet from Cyrus’ Vegas show here.
