Capitol Records has partnered with Katy Perry to launch her own label, Metamorphosis Music. The 29-year-old pop star also revealed that she has signed Jordanian singer-songwriter Ferras as her first artist under the new label. Perry executive produced his self-titled EP, which was released digitally by Metamorphosis on Tuesday. Perry duets with Ferras on the album’s track “Legends Never Die” and has invited him to join her on her upcoming North American tour. Ferras signed with Capitol in 2007 and met Perry, who was also new to the label at the time. Perry’s North American tour starts on June 22nd in Raleigh, N.C.
