Despite trying to reach out to one of her bandmates for support, she ended up crashing down in a dramatic fashion. Despite the embarrassing tumble, Katy took it all in stride and tried to make light of the situation. She’ll probably think twice before attempting that stunt again, especially since she’s set to host the MTV Europe Music Awards next month.

Katy’s bandmates witnessed her unfortunate tumble to the ground during a performance. The 23-year-old musician from California has been nominated for two awards at the upcoming event in Liverpool on November 6th – Best New Act and Most Addictive Track. This will be the singer’s first time hosting an awards ceremony.

Perry jokingly remarked, “It’s quite an honor to be following in the footsteps of previous hosts like Christina Aguilera, Tom Jones, P Diddy, and Snoop Dogg at this prestigious event. I wonder if they know what they’re getting themselves into. I just hope I don’t accidentally spill my cocktail… or take a tumble!”
